1.- Trilingualism
From the very beginning our school has adopted the trilingualism educational curriculum. In the second course of pre-school their day is divided in three parts with the same hours for each language. These three languages, spanish, euskera and english cover a 33 % of their day. These languages are used as lingua franca in several subjects.
The pupils of 1 and 2 years old have a total immersion in english and euskera using half the day english and the other half euskera.
The introduction of our trilingual project has been really a pioneer project in the basque autonomous community and due to that, the department of educational of the basque government has distinguish it with the mention in 2000 as the singular innovation project of the year.
2.- Early stimulation
Coas schools have being implementing the early learning for years, through sensory, cognitive, motor and conductive stimulation.
The neurological progress has shown that at three the brain has matured and developed by 50 % of its capability. Based in this fact the first years of the child must have an environment full of sensorial, visual and tactile stimulus.

3.- Psicopedagogy orientation
Umedi with the aim to prevent, detect, and monitoring any learning problems, have a psicopedagogy orientation department.
This department guarantee a more specific support in the improvement of his education, the development of his capacities and also the improvement of skills.
4.- Educations in habits and learnt how to get together
Since the first course of primary education we begin with the education for the acquisition of personal habits and values as well as learnt how to get together
5.- Christian formation
Coas schools educative projects shares the spiritual and ethical values of christianity based in the catholic church doctrine.
According to their age the pupils are teach to pray and have a loving feeling with Jesus and holy mary.
The chaplaincy of the school, which is trusted upon a priest of opus dei, is at the disposition of those parents who ask for it.
6.- teaching for thinking and comprehension
Since the year 2001 we have been incorporating to our educational projects methodology that provides an added value to actual education: the zero project of Harvard university and the thinking based learning of the boston national centre for teaching thinking.
The very reason for the incorporation of these two projects at our programming is to improve the pupils thinking skills at any curricular subject or area and so help them to be able to think in a better and more mature way. Due to that the process teaching – learning guided by the teachers staff will result more effective.
